National Games of Bhutan

National Games of Bhutan.Archery (dha) is the national game most popular among Bhutanese. An Archery game is played between two teams and archery players wear traditional dresses. The players shoot at the traditionally painted wooden targets firmly placed on the ground with a distance of over 100 meters between targets. A hit on a target by a player is celebrated by the team with song and dance.

Dart (khuru) and Javelin throw are other traditional sports. Bhutanese also play football, basket ball, tennis, volley ball, golf, crickets etc.
