The queen of Bhutan turns 22 today. Nation joins together  to wish her majesty the long life and many happy returns of the day.Gyaltsuen Jetsun Pema Wangchuck turns 22 today. Coinciding with the birth anniversary of Gyaltsuen, the three armed forces and members of the taxi association of Bhutan offered tashi khaddar and a birthday cake to Gyaltsuen at Lingkhana Palace in Thimphu.

After the ceremony, they were granted an audience by His Majesty the King and Gyaltsuen. Gyaltsuen was born on  June 4 in 1990. Gyaltsuen is from Pangtey in Bumthang. Her Majesty went to Little Dragon Montessori and then to Sunshine School. Her Majesty then studied for a year at the Changangkha Lower Secondary school and then completed her Middle Secondary School from Lungtenzampa.

Besides excelling in academics, Her Majesty also participated actively in extra-curricular activities and sports. After Lungtenzampa, Her Majesty went to St Josephs Convent in Kalimpong and Saint Lawrence in India. Her Majesty then went to Regents College in the UK.http://www.clickbhutantravel.com/
